Stoichiometry Calculator
Find moles, mass, and ratios in chemical reactions
About Stoichiometry
Stoichiometry is the calculation of reactants and products in chemical reactions. It uses the **balanced chemical equation** to relate quantities of substances.
Formula
Moles of Desired = (Moles Given × Coeff. Desired) / Coeff. Given
Mass of Desired = Moles of Desired × Molar Mass
Worked Example
For the reaction: 2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O
If you have **2 moles of H₂**, how much H₂O is produced?
Moles H₂O = (2 × 2) / 2 = 2 mol
Mass H₂O = 2 × 18 = 36 g
✅ Result: 36 g of water is formed.
